Terms & Conditions

Application: TAMAR (“App”) • Jurisdiction: Bangalore

1) Scope & Acceptance

These Terms govern use of the App by Authorized Users only (delivery personnel, plant admins, distributor admins) provisioned by the Company or its partners. No self-registration is permitted. By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you are not an Authorized User, do not use the App.

2) Purpose of the App (Operational Use Only)

Tamar supports stock movement and delivery operations:

  • Tracking flow Plant → Distributor → Delivery Person → Customer

  • QR scanning of cylinder identifiers and chain-of-custody

  • OTP verification at customer handover

  • Capturing location only at the delivery event

  • Issuing delivery notes to customers via integrated back-office systems

(Admins track operations in a separate back-office application.)

3) Accounts & Access

  • Accounts are created by the back office; credentials are shared with the Authorized User.

  • You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials/device and reporting loss/compromise immediately.

  • Role-based access and device controls (e.g., MDM) may be applied.

4) Authorized Use & Conduct

You agree to: Use the App solely for assigned duties and per Company SOPs and law; perform QR scans and OTP handover accurately at delivery; permit location capture only at delivery (the App does not require continuous/background location); follow LPG safety norms; never use the device while driving. You will not tamper with cylinder identity, falsify logs, bypass OTP flows, reverse engineer, introduce malware, or misuse the App.

5) Devices, Connectivity & Availability

  • Use on Company-owned/approved devices with adequate OS, GPS, and connectivity.

  • The App may be unavailable due to maintenance, outages, or force majeure. Features may change without prior notice.

6) Deliveries, OTP & Records

  • Delivery completes only upon valid OTP entry; proof-of-delivery records (incl. delivery-time location) are stored.

  • Delivery notes are generated/sent by integrated systems. Disputes follow Company SOPs.

7) Payments

The App does not integrate any payment gateway. Any invoicing/settlement is handled outside the App by Company processes.

8) Confidentiality

Operational data (routes, volumes, pricing, client lists, cylinder IDs, audit trails) is confidential. Do not disclose, copy, or export except as required for duties and per policy.

9) Third-Party Services & IP

The App may use third-party services (maps/geocoding, analytics/crash reporting, SMS/push). Their terms/privacy may also apply. All App content and trademarks are owned by the Company/licensors. You receive a limited, revocable, non-transferable license for work use.

10) Warranties & Disclaimers

The App is provided “as-is” and “as-available.” We disclaim all warranties (express/implied), including merchantability, fitness, accuracy, and non-infringement.

11) Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses. Our aggregate liability is limited to INR 1,000 or the amount (if any) paid for the transaction giving rise to the claim—whichever is higher.

12) Indemnity

You agree to indemnify the Company against claims/losses arising from your misuse of the App, breach of these Terms, or violation of law/third-party rights.

​

13) Suspension & Termination

We may suspend/terminate access for misuse, security risk, or legal non-compliance. You may stop using the App at any time (uninstall). Employment/contract matters are governed separately.

​

14) Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Bengaluru have exclusive jurisdiction. Parties will first attempt amicable resolution via the Grievance Officer.

​

15) Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified in-app. Continued use after changes indicates acceptance.
